Gearbox vents for greater fording depth
To prevent transmission damage due to passages through water, the vents for gearbox, transfer case and differentials on the front and rear axles are relocated in the engine compartment to the level of the battery.
• Prevents water from entering into the gearbox, bevel gearbox, rear axle differential and Haldex during passages through water
• Comprises special vent valves for differential lock on rear axle and filters at ends of venting hoses in engine compartment to protect against the ingress of dirt.
